Sell also: civilisation, culture, refinement
• Noun: a society in an advanced state of social development (e.g., with complex legal and political and religious organizations); example: "the people slowly progressed from barbarism to civilization"
• Noun: the social process whereby societies achieve civilization
• Noun: a particular society at a particular time and place; example: "early Mayan civilization"
• Noun: the quality of excellence in thought and manners and taste; examples: "a man of intellectual refinement", "he is remembered for his generosity and civilization"
If any civilization is to survive, it is the morality of altruism that men have to reject.
I don't believe civilization can do a lot more than educate a person's senses.
If you are not prepared to use force to defend civilization, then be prepared to accept barbarism.
