• Noun: the humane quality of understanding the suffering of others and wanting to do something about it
The law has no compassion. And justice is administered without compassion.
If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
It is not until you become a mother that your judgment slowly turns to compassion and understanding.
You may call God love, you may call God goodness. But the best name for God is compassion.
Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive.
Compassion is not weakness, and concern for the unfortunate is not socialism.
